Surveyor CCQ - Civil Engineering

In this role as a Surveyor within Pomerleau's Civil Engineering & Infrastructure team, you will work closely with all team members to ensure the coordination of projects. Working on large-scale construction projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion - you will have the opportunity to support the team and participate in the execution of work according to specifications.

What you will do

• Perform land surveys: Use surveying instruments to measure and record topographical data;
• Establish points and markers: Place markers on the job site to guide construction work (underground services, curbs, sidewalks, paving, etc.);
• Transmit information: Ensure all project stakeholders have the necessary information to advance the work;
• Supervise and inspect: Monitor and inspect work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications;
• Work as a team, maintain a positive and trusting work environment, and communicate effectively with colleagues and other trades on the job site;
• Perform all other tasks related to operations.
• This position is for you if you have
• A DEP, AEC, or Certificate in Surveying or Civil Engineering
• 1 to 2 years of experience in civil construction projects
• An ASP Construction & SIMDUT 2015 card
• A valid driver's license – Class 5
• Proficiency with surveying tools (robotized total station, GPS)
