The Global Manufacturing Organization is seeking an Associate Director, Project Management, to join its leadership team.

In this strategic role, you will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior leadership, driving high-impact cross-functional initiatives that will shape the future of the organization. You will lead enterprise-wide projects, provide strategic analysis, and facilitate the successful execution of critical business priorities across multiple functions.

As a member of the Global Manufacturing Leadership Team, you will play a key role in bridging strategy and execution, fostering organizational alignment, driving operational excellence, and generating measurable business results that support Pratt & Whitney Canada's long-term objectives.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, located in Longueuil, and is performed exclusively on-site.

What Will Your Day Look Like?

  • Collaborate with senior operations leadership to define strategic priorities, assess complex business challenges, and develop action plans supporting the organization's long-term objectives.
  • Lead high-impact cross-functional strategic initiatives and special assignments, from conception to implementation, to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps, governance frameworks, and implementation plans to achieve enterprise priorities and transformation initiatives.
  • Provide strategic analysis, recommendations, and data-driven insights to support senior leadership decision-making, organizational planning, and business performance improvement.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executives by identifying risks, evaluating business opportunities, and recommending pragmatic solutions to complex operational and strategic challenges.
  • Prepare presentations for senior leadership, business reviews, and executive communications to transform complex subjects into clear, concise, and impactful messages.
  • Foster collaboration between business units and functions to align stakeholders, resolve cross-functional issues, and accelerate the execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve governance, organizational efficiency, operational effectiveness, and the adoption of best practices across the organization.
  • Influence and mobilize stakeholders at all levels of the organization, without direct hierarchical authority, by developing strong partnerships that drive priority execution and measurable business results.
  • Track strategic initiatives by monitoring key milestones, managing risks, and regularly presenting project progress to senior leadership.
  • Perform any other tasks as needed to achieve business objectives and the continuous evolution of the Global Manufacturing Organization.

What Do You Need to Succeed?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, project management, or a related discipline, combined with a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in managing cross-functional strategic initiatives within a complex business environment.
  • Strong autonomy, initiative, and the ability to exercise sound judgment in a complex, fast-paced, and constantly evolving business environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading strategic, large-scale projects, organizational transformations, or initiatives for senior leadership.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to resolve complex and ambiguous business issues using a structured approach.
  • Recognized expertise in project and program management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver results in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Strong influence leadership skills, with demonstrated experience in collaborating with multiple functions without direct hierarchical authority.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to senior leadership, including the preparation of executive documents.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations that support decision-making.
  • Experience in implementing operational excellence, continuous improvement, governance, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other collaboration tools.
  • Bilingualism (French and English).
  • MBA or relevant discipline, an asset.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and change management practices, an asset.
