Your responsibilities as a Bakery Assistant include

• Preparing, arranging, and placing various products on shelves, islands, and displays according to Super C standards and requirements;
• Applying market standards (product rotation, expiration dates tracking, etc);
• Baking, packaging, and displaying bread;
• Knowing and applying sanitation standards: hygiene, cleanliness, health, and safety within the department;
• Responding to customer needs and requests efficiently and courteously;
• May be called upon to perform orders and receive merchandise from the department;
• Applying standards for the arrangement and maintenance of the backroom;
• Collaborating in maintaining the store's customer service;
• Any other related tasks requested by your immediate supervisor.

Requirements

• 0-6 months of experience in a similar position;
• Availability for day, evening (weekday and weekend) work.

Skills sought

• Courteous and polite attitude at all times;
• Ability to pull, push, lift loads, and handle merchandise;
• Able to work in a hot/cold environment at times;
• Knowledge and application of health and safety standards at all times.
