Shuttle Loader Operator - Ormaque

The shuttle loader operator is responsible for maneuvering heavy machinery used in the extraction of ore.

Under the supervision of the mine supervisor, the essential tasks of this position will include:

• Conduct pre-work inspections, ventilation, and scaling
• Inspect and maintain equipment
• Operate the shuttle loader in the work areas and/or remotely (remote)
• Load trucks for the transport of ore and waste
• Fill in the work areas
• Load ore from the work areas and development
• Work proactively by suggesting improvements related to the assigned tasks to optimize safety, quality, and efficiency in our production operations
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment
• Apply and comply with all applicable norms, regulations, standards, codes, and laws at Eldorado Gold and in Quebec
• Perform any other activities that may be assigned by supervisors.

Required Profile

• Hold a DEP in heavy machinery or forest road construction, mineral extraction, and/or relevant experience judged pertinent to the job
• Have 3 years of relevant experience in similar roles
