Your Work Environment at EXP

In this role, you will be part of the Building Science team in the Environment, Soils, and Materials department. You will oversee roofing work, inspect various roofing and waterproofing projects, conduct site surveys, and ensure compliance with project plans. You will be based at our Montreal or Laval office and primarily work on construction sites in the Greater Montreal area, with occasional assignments across Quebec.

What Your Workday at EXP Looks Like

• Monitor and inspect demolition and reconstruction work on roofs in accordance with plans and estimates;
• Verify the installation of membranes and waterproofing systems;
• Travel to job sites according to the work schedule;
• Ensure that provided materials comply with plans and estimates;
• Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed and/or encouraged;
• Write daily reports;
• Conduct physical surveys for roof planning and sampling;
• Perform any other tasks related to the job.

What Makes You an Asset for EXP

• You have a DEC, AEC, or DEP in civil engineering, architecture, or any other relevant field;
• You have experience working on construction sites;
• You have your ASP card;
• You are able to travel to various job sites;
• You have experience in roofing and waterproofing;
• You are able to lift 30 lbs (occasionally);
• You have your AMCQ (Association of Master Roofers of Quebec) competency cards (asset).
