  • Organize, coordinate, and supervise the work of teams assigned to:
  • Maintenance, construction, and repair of water supply and sewer networks, pumping stations, and all related equipment;
  • Identification and correction of spillage issues in the networks;
  • Clearing, snow removal, sweeping, repair, maintenance, and repair of streets and sidewalks;
  • Maintenance and installation of traffic signs;
  • Cleaning of septic tanks;
  • Work related to buildings: carpentry, painting, concierge, construction, installation, and maintenance of building amenities.

  • Participate in the preparation of budget forecasts;
  • Actively participate in meetings of your service;
  • Inform your immediate supervisor of any major irregularities or disturbances you are aware of;
  • Perform your on-call duty at Public Works in rotation;

THE CANDIDATE WE ARE LOOKING FOR MUST

  • Hold a college diploma (DEC) in civil engineering technology or any other relevant field;
  • Have at least five (5) years of relevant experience in the field;
  • Bold, provides solutions, and has a sense of urgency;
  • Demanding and capable of ensuring tight follow-ups;
  • Communicate in a positive, direct, and precise manner, must be project and task-oriented;
  • Be skilled at supervising staff;
  • Have good physical condition;
  • Be willing to work evenings, weekends, and on-call during the winter;
  • Have a valid driver's license.
