LWT Consultants is an engineering consulting firm specializing in process, mechanical, and project management, working in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and industrial industries. Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Chemical or Mechanical CPI to join our team. The selected person will support the engineering team in the design, analysis, and optimization of industrial processes and equipment. They will participate in the preparation of plans, balances, calculations, simulations, specifications, and technical documents for diverse consulting projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform mass and energy balances, preliminary calculations, simulations, and sizing calculations under supervision.
- Contribute to the preparation of diagrams, plans, and technical models (PFD, P&ID, 2D/3D, piping, and layout).
- Participate in the design of processes, mechanical equipment, and piping systems.
- Prepare and update project specifications, reports, and other technical documents.
- Support feasibility analyses, optimization, and the integration of safety and regulatory standards.
- Participate in site visits to collect data for projects.
- Contribute to the standardization of design methods and tools, while developing interactions with clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Candidate for the Engineering Profession (CPI).
- Basic knowledge of process simulation software (Aspen, HYSYS, PRO/II, or equivalents) and/or mechanical design software (AutoCAD, Inventor, Plant 3D, or equivalents).
- Interest in optimization, multidisciplinary design, and consulting projects.
- Analytical mindset, rigor, curiosity, and willingness to learn.
Conditions and Benefits
- Hybrid position with flexibility on days of remote work.
- Work schedule: 40 hours per week.
- Vacation: Additional week between Christmas and New Year's Day, depending on experience.
- Sick days: 5 paid days per year.
