ExpoCité is looking for qualified individuals to fill one or more temporary parking attendant positions at the booth for the collection of parking tickets.
ExpoCité is the organization mandated by the City of Quebec to manage, on a commercial basis, a set of infrastructures and activities on a 400,000 square meter site owned by it. ExpoCité is also the name of the multifunctional site that includes the Quebec Fair Center, the Guy Lafleur Pavilion, and several other multi-purpose buildings. Its mission is to promote the shine of the Quebec region by hosting major events by offering spaces, equipment, and services of quality, adapted to the needs of the public and partners.
THE CHALLENGES
Under the authority of the operations chief and under the supervision of the parking manager, the person holding the position controls and collects access to parking, prepares their deposit slips, directs cars on the site, and directs and informs the public. They perform various tasks of installing security, framing, and control equipment and complete any other tasks related to the demand of their supervisor.
To Be Part of Our Team, You Must
- Be able to react quickly to unexpected situations;
- Have the ability to manage a high volume of financial transactions and a speed of execution to receive payment and return money;
- Have the ease to communicate with the public and to work in a team;
- Have a good capacity to work outside in often difficult weather conditions;
- Be able to respect health and safety rules at work.
Note that the schedule is atypical (day, evening, and weekend). The person must be minimally available during the day and one weekend every two.
WHAT WE OFFER
Hourly wage of $23.22 (scale 2026) at the start of employment.
