Workshop Technician - Weekend

Our Workshop Technicians are responsible for assisting the customer on-site or at the job site with superior service quality and product expertise to maintain high quality standards ensuring repairs are completed on time and with the highest integrity.

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Schedule - Weekend

Compensation: $47.98 *The indicated salary is only one component of our total compensation package and some additional bonuses may be awarded.*

• During a typical workday, YOU will perform the following tasks:
• Demonstrate safe, environmentally respectful work behaviors at all times in accordance with Toromont's health and safety policies, programs, and initiatives.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems using various test equipment.
• Maintain the quality of equipment handling repair work in accordance with established job site time standards.
• Prepare maintenance and repair reports accurately and promptly.
• Maintain excellent communication and trustworthy relationships with customers through regular job site visits.

Required skills for this position

• A valid technician license in compliance with provincial standards.
• Minimum of five years of experience in heavy equipment mechanics
• Experience with mining equipment is a plus
