The team is looking for candidates interested in:

  • Working dynamically to plan, coordinate, and execute operational preparation activities, in collaboration with our clients' operational staff and project teams responsible for designing, constructing, and commissioning new systems and equipment;
  • Using state-of-the-art systems and tools for operational preparation, along with industry expertise, to carry out operational preparation assignments;
  • Providing customized services throughout the different phases of the project, so that each operational preparation plan meets the client's economic objectives for that project;
  • Supporting operations beyond the project phase through performance improvement activities, such as optimizing reliability and productivity;
  • In close collaboration with the company's digital group, providing digital technologies and solutions aimed at transforming the client's activities in the mining and metals, energy, and infrastructure sectors for the better.

Candidates selected will participate in important projects within the client's teams, while actively contributing to the development of the operational preparation group.

Main responsibilities of the position:

  • Meet with clients and project teams to develop business relationships and identify needs and requirements for operational preparation;
  • Support clients in developing customized planning and execution processes for operational preparation, according to the organization and project;
  • Facilitate and lead workshops to develop operational strategies (production, maintenance, HSEC, supply and logistics, recruitment, training, commissioning and production, etc.);
  • Develop the operational preparation plan in collaboration with operational staff and project teams;
  • Manage and coordinate the implementation of the operational preparation plan (activity coordination, project control, monthly reporting, risk management, and quality assurance);
  • Support the training of operational staff and the commissioning of new assets;
  • Maintain, improve, and develop work processes and tools to optimize operational preparation activities;
  • Measure and present the added value of operational preparation to our clients (annual report).

We are looking for self-sufficient individuals who can demonstrate their skills, experience, and potential in the following areas:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations and Logistics Engineering or Industrial Engineering
  • 0-3 years of industrial experience (in operations or consulting);
  • Sensitivity to customer needs; ability to establish lasting relationships based on openness and honesty, both with customers and colleagues;
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written);
  • Team leadership skills and willingness to collaborate effectively with others;
  • Ability to negotiate and influence others to get the best out of a project or business;
  • Proven experience using the Microsoft suite and a planning tool like MS Project.
  • Additional assets that strengthen your application:
  • Exposure to an operating company and experience in maintenance, production, logistics, etc.;
  • Experience working on a project basis;
  • Experience in project management;
  • Certification in training, or equivalent.
