The opportunity for a temporary assignment (with the possibility of extension) within the Asset Management and Global Reliability team is for you!
Responsibilities
- Support the engineers of the Asset Management and Global Reliability team in the exercise of their role-counseling in the plant;
- Participate in modification projects aimed at eliminating specific chronic problems in the plants while minimizing the need for resources and capital;
- Be involved in the problematic equipment management program and in the equipment availability measures collected by the operation. Set up and follow up on maintenance and reliability indicators to identify improvement opportunities;
- Provide technical expertise to the operation and maintenance personnel to identify and implement technologies and methodologies that increase equipment reliability. Share knowledge at all levels of the organization;
- Analyze to identify potential failures and breakage repetition based on data analysis. Measure the results, identify deviations and implement action plans to fill them;
- Participate as needed in weekly plant meetings;
- Develop specifications and procedures for specialized work.
Requirements
- Hold a university degree in electrical engineering;
- Be registered with the Order of Engineers of Quebec as a Candidate for the Engineering Profession (CPI).
- Have general knowledge in electrical engineering;
- Demonstrate rigor, autonomy, and initiative;
- Have a developed analytical mindset;
- Be comfortable communicating with technical and operational teams;
- Experience in a manufacturing and unionized environment is an asset;
- Prioritize health and safety by promoting good practices in this area by integrating ArcelorMittal's 10 Golden Rules into daily life.
- Other Information:
Full-time schedule from Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) at our Contrecoeur plants.
