Job Overview:

As an Engineering Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the technical management and coordination of the company's projects. You will be responsible for client follow-up, project management, and demonstrating technical proficiency to ensure the success of engineering initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Client Follow-up

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients;
• Understand client needs and manage priorities;
• Serve as a technical contact point for clients;
• Ensure clients are promptly informed of any changes affecting the schedule.

2. Project Management

• Plan and schedule engineering projects according to departmental priorities;
• Gather all necessary technical information in pre-project;
• Monitor project progress;
• Contribute to process improvement.

3. Technical Skills

• Understand basic mechanical and electrical concepts (High Voltage Circuit Breaker domain - an asset);
• Be able to communicate effectively with clients and internal departments to understand challenges and proposed solutions;
• Participate in technical meetings and provide support to the engineering team;
• Be able to translate technical needs into client-understandable terms.

4. Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure timely project delivery.

What you need for this position

• 3 to 5 years of experience in project management;
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, or equivalent;
• Bilingual English/French (required) / Spanish an asset;
• Strong communication skills;
• High attention to detail and rigor;
• Strong customer orientation (exceptional customer service).
• Knowledge of Wrike, Procore, and SolidWorks tools (asset).
• Knowledge of macros and VBA (asset).
