YOUR NEXT CHALLENGES:

Reporting to the General Supervisor of Optimization, you will work within the Maintenance Department and play a key role in improving operational performance.

In this role, you will be called upon to accomplish the following tasks:

  • Lead and implement concrete optimization projects on-site and measure and communicate the benefits;
  • Utilize operational data to support decision-making and prioritize actions;
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain reliable dashboards, reports, and performance indicators for management teams;
  • Support the implementation and adoption of innovative mining technologies and digital solutions;
  • Act as an intermediary between operational needs, technical teams, and suppliers to ensure alignment of solutions with operational requirements;
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a data-driven, fact-based, and results-oriented continuous improvement culture;
  • Perform any other tasks as requested by your supervisor.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR YOUR SUCCESS

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, a college diploma in mining technology or a related field, or possess a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent;
  • Demonstrate recognized experience and skills in project management;
  • Exhibit strong on-site leadership and operational credibility with various stakeholders;
  • Possess a good understanding of the realities of the mining sector and the constraints related to work execution;
  • Be able to positively influence teams and foster change adoption without direct hierarchical authority;
  • Demonstrate rigor in planning, action tracking, schedule adherence, and benefit evaluation;
  • Have the ability to simplify technical concepts, data, and technologies for on-site user understanding;
  • Possess basic knowledge in continuous improvement (Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, etc.);
  • Be comfortable facilitating workshops and problem-solving sessions.
  • Demonstrate excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, while exhibiting autonomy and initiative.

  • Work schedule: 4/3 (10 hours) or 5/2 – 4/3 (9 hours) or 5/2 (8 hours)
