Laborer - CCQ Civil Engineering

Grandmont et Fils Ltée is a bridge and viaduct builder all over Quebec for over 60 years.

We are looking for versatile laborers to participate in various construction projects across Quebec. We are currently working on a project at the Ouelle River and will be there for several months.

Are you passionate about manual work and large-scale projects?

Here are the main challenges you will face

• Perform formwork/demolition work on massive civil engineering elements;
• Participate in the concreting of structures;
• Collaborate with other trades on the construction site;
• Participate in deep foundation work (piles, sheet piles, Berlin walls);
• Install temporary works: bridges, walkways, scaffolding, or protective elements;
• Follow safety standards on the construction site;
• Ensure the site is kept clean;

All other tasks contributing to the success of the site.

• Valid skill card (CCQ);
• Experience in civil engineering (an asset);
• Operation of a telescoping mast forklift (important asset);

• Welding and oxy-cutting skills (an asset).
