Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Chief Information Technology and Innovation Officer, they define the technological orientations of the application portfolio, mobilize the teams, and ensure the evolution of the platforms to support the company's growth, innovation, and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Define technological orientations and priorities to ensure the performance, stability, and evolution of the company's application portfolio.
  • Lead the teams responsible for development, application support, integrations, and operations, while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies for platform modernization, technical debt reduction, and obsolescence management.
  • Advise the CIO and business partners on technological issues, risks, investments, and opportunities for the evolution of solutions.
  • Manage technological partners, strategic suppliers, and budgets under their responsibility.
  • Develop the organization's technical capabilities to ensure the sustainability of expertise and support Simons' growth ambitions.

Requirements

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • Have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive experience in information technology, including at least five (5) years in a management or leadership role.
  • Have significant experience in managing critical enterprise platforms, modernizing systems, and technological transformation.
  • Have a strong understanding of complex application environments, combining legacy systems and modern platforms.
  • Demonstrate mobilizing leadership, strategic vision, and strong ability to influence and support teams in a transformation context.
  • Have experience in managing technological partners, strategic suppliers, and significant budgets.
  • Be recognized for their results-oriented approach, problem-solving skills, and ability to create value for the company.
  • Be able to communicate in French and English, both orally and in writing.
