As part of our growth, we are currently looking for an Administrative Technician – Accounting and Insolvency Administration for our Quebec office.

Your Role
Under the supervision of the management and in close collaboration with authorized insolvency trustees and case administrators, you will play a key role in the administration of insolvency cases.
You will contribute to the fulfillment of tax and regulatory obligations while ensuring rigorous follow-up of the various administrative steps until the closure of the cases.
You will join an experienced team that values collaboration, knowledge sharing, and skill development.
Comprehensive training and personalized support will allow you to gradually acquire recognized expertise in a specialized field.

Your Main Responsibilities
Tax and Regulatory Administration
- Prepare, produce, and follow up on TPS/TVQ declarations for insolvency cases.
- Produce updates to the Registrar of Companies of Quebec.
- Prepare the required government declarations, including DAS, T4, tax returns, and documents for the CNESST.
- Perform necessary reconciliations and verifications.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory deadlines.
- Employee Protection Program (EPP)
- Manage claims within the Employee Protection Program.
- Collect, analyze, and transmit the required documentation.
- Perform necessary follow-ups with various stakeholders.
- Administrative Support
- Collaborate with insolvency trustees and case administrators.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of work methods.
- Contribute to the smooth running of cases until their closure.
- Perform any other tasks related to the administration of insolvency cases.

- The Profile We Are Looking For
We are looking for a person who loves well-done work, has an excellent sense of organization, and wants to evolve in an environment where collaboration is a true value.
Education
- DEP, AEC, or DEC in accounting, administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Experience in an administrative position with accounting responsibilities.
- Experience in insolvency, accounting, or a professional services firm is an asset.
- Qualities Sought
- High rigor and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Autonomy and sense of responsibility.
- Discretion and professionalism.
- Good team spirit.
- Excellent communication skills in French.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
