Job Duties

You will join the Investment Specialist team of CIBC Personal and Business Banking Services. As an Investment Specialist, you will work closely with other CIBC branch employees to build lasting relationships with clients and provide them with sound investment planning advice to help them achieve their financial success. You will also help develop new client relationships by participating in business expansion activities within the branch community where you will work.

  • Client Engagement – Prioritize each client's experience and build a personal relationship so that every interaction is meaningful. Collaborate with branch teams to improve relationships by providing clients with personalized investment advice and comprehensive financial planning support to help them achieve their financial goals.

Obtaining the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, or completing the IQPF training, will also satisfy this requirement.
