We are looking for a Housekeeping Attendant who wishes to provide a warm service to our guests while respecting the standards and norms of our hotel.

Reporting to the Housekeeper, the incumbent is responsible for performing housekeeping tasks to ensure the comfort of our guests and to provide them with a clean and healthy environment daily, according to the policies and procedures of our establishment.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide courteous and professional service, being proactive and oriented towards the needs of guests.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of common areas and floors.
  • Transport and distribute, using carts, products to the floors for room attendants (towels, sheets, etc.).
  • Clean and maintain the carpets of the corridors, windows, and furniture in the lobby and entrance hall of the hotel.
  • Assist housekeeping with the laundry, twice a week, or help clean rooms as needed.
  • Take out the trash as needed.
  • All other tasks related to the housekeeping department, including: cleaning public restrooms, including those in the restaurant, cleaning meeting rooms.
  • Respect the policies, procedures, and service standards of the hotel.

Requirements

  • Availability to work under a variable schedule (weekdays, weekends, and holidays).
  • Be particularly responsible, reliable, resourceful, and have a keen eye for detail.
  • Possess the physical capabilities to perform the required tasks.
  • Ability to work in a team and effectively share information.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
