ENVIRONMENTAL COORDINATOR

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Professional in the environment recognized for his rigor, his judgment and his ability to manage several priorities;

Solid knowledge of the environmental requirements applicable in an industrial environment;

Interest in energy management, environmental performance and sustainable development;

Ability to advise and influence multidisciplinary teams;

Ability to analyze risks and propose concrete solutions;

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Ensure environmental and energy compliance of sites under your responsibility;
• Exercise proactive vigilance of regulatory requirements and emerging issues;
• Advise management on environmental orientations and risks;
• Lead the energy management program and maintain ISO 50001 certification;
• Actively participate in improving the energy performance of facilities;
• Ensure environmental governance of various facilities and related partners;
• Represent the company before government and regulatory authorities;

Contribute to the company's reputation and social acceptability in the communities where we operate.

REQUIREMENTS

A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (environment, engineering, sciences or related discipline); A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment;

Excellent knowledge of environmental laws and regulations;

Recognized ability to analyze complex issues and influence decisions;

Strong relational skills allowing you to interact effectively with operational teams, government authorities and external stakeholders;

Proficiency in French and English.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Office work combined with regular plant visits.

Wearing personal protective equipment required during plant visits.

Manufacturing environment that can be dusty and noisy.
