ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Passion for industrial electricity and instrumentation.
Electrician certification (CÉ) obtained or in the process of being obtained.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of programmable automata (Allen Bradley or equivalent).
Collaborative spirit and orientation towards continuous improvement.
Autonomy, diligence, and constant commitment to workplace health and safety.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Perform repairs and maintenance on various electrical equipment on work shifts (day, evening, night, and weekends);
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, as well as repairs on all types of electrical and electronic systems and the instrumentation associated with them;
Ensure the operation of production equipment, make the right diagnosis in case of failure, and implement the necessary changes;
Analyze electrical issues in depth, resolve these problems, and update the production equipment plans;
Carry out repairs on components in the workshop;
Be the contact person for high-power electricity in the plant;
Apply the organization's Health, Safety, and Environment principles;
Work in collaboration with maintenance and production team members;
Collaborate on problem-solving related to equipment efficiency and improvement.
REQUIREMENTS
DEC or DEP in electromechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or related field, with 3 to 5 years of experience;
Experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally on a transformation line or in pulp and paper (asset);
Electrician certification (CÉ) and/or MMF class 4 (asset);
Ability to diagnose and solve mechanical and electrical problems;
Knowledge of automation, programming, and related techniques (hydraulics, welding, etc.);
Commitment to workplace health and safety standards (SST).
SCHEDULE
This is a 12-hour work shift schedule alternating between the two shifts (day and night) according to the following sequence: Week 1: J-J-J-J-Off-Off-Off
Week 2: Off-Off-Off-Off-N-N-N
Week 3: N-Off-Off-Off-J-J-J
Week 4: Off-N-N-N-Off-Off-Off
Day: 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM /
