Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Logistics Coordinator manages all construction equipment on the project site. They oversee the rental, maintenance, repair, and return of assets, construction equipment, and vehicles. The Logistics Coordinator primarily works in the job site office (approximately 75% of the time), while occasionally working on-site for about 25% of their schedule.

• Excellent communication skills, ability to establish and maintain working relationships;
• Advanced French proficiency, both oral and written;
• Intermediate English proficiency, both oral and written, to regularly interact with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, partners, and colleagues at a national level;
• High level of autonomy and ability to handle last-minute requests;
• Excellent team management and conflict resolution skills;
• Strong geographical mobility;
• Valid driver's license;
• Knowledge of construction machinery is an asset;
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook.

What you will do to successfully accomplish this mission

• Plan equipment needs based on the team's requirements in collaboration with the superintendent and foremen;
• Schedule and plan delivery appointments;
• Manage the fleet in coordination with the Regional Logistics Coordinator;
• Update the tracking database with required equipment and tools;
• Create and maintain an equipment forecasting model for all equipment suppliers;
• Ensure the site has all the necessary equipment to carry out the work;
• Manage repairs and the return of assets.
