Your future role within our team BBA is currently seeking a Process Engineering (CPI) professional for its team in Montreal. Join a recognized team for the quality of its expertise and consulting services, and contribute to the development and strengthening of relationships with our clients. You will participate in the preparation of service offers, engineering work, technology selection, and project implementation related to plant services, including biocarburant manufacturing processes, carbon capture and utilization, green hydrogen, water treatment, liquefied natural gas, specialized chemicals, lithium processing, and more.
With Us, You Will Have the Opportunity To
- Prepare simple plans and basic calculations
- Apply established design and calculation methods
- Establish mass and energy balances using simulation software
- Select and size process equipment
- Write specifications, process design criteria, process flow diagrams (PFD), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), installation drawings, specifications, technical evaluations, and reports
- Participate in various stages of office, field, or laboratory work, if applicable
- Prepare service offers
- Contribute to the development and growth of the company
- Perform commissioning and performance testing of equipment
- Conduct routine inspections or technical surveys

Post Certifications and Requirements, in Brief
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
- Up to two years of relevant experience in the advanced fuels and chemicals or oil and gas sector
- Membership in the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (preferably) or eligibility to become a member as a candidate for the engineering profession
- Basic knowledge of process simulation
- Strong knowledge of statistics and effective analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of fluid mechanics and heat transfer
- Interest in process control and knowledge in the field
- Interest in the environment
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Advanced English level to facilitate good collaboration with BBA offices and/or clients located in the anglophone provinces of Canada and internationally (English usage frequency may vary from occasional to daily depending on ongoing projects)
- Advanced French level to facilitate good collaboration with BBA offices and/or clients located in Quebec
