*We are looking for a Maintenance Director for our residence located at Villa Domaine St-Grégoire in BÉCANCOUR.*

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and control maintenance work, including outsourced work
  • Prepare preliminary submissions for maintenance and repair projects to be given externally
  • Mobilize, manage, and coordinate the work of the housekeeping, laundry, and residence maintenance teams
  • Integrate, train, and evaluate staff
  • Manage requisitions and respond to emergencies at all times
  • Ensure that vacant apartments are clean and in excellent condition before the next occupancy
  • Perform maintenance on the residence's HVAC equipment
  • Inventory products and materials, and make necessary purchases on time
  • Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and take charge of expense tracking
  • Provide an effective customer service and respond to their needs
  • Always ensure compliance with SIMDUT standards and health and safety regulations for employees and residents
  • Perform any other tasks related to their functions and at the request of their immediate supervisor

Required qualifications

  • DEP in general building maintenance (an asset)
  • Team management

  • In-depth knowledge of the components of a residence/building's installations
  • SIMDUT training
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in minor manual work (painting, electricity, carpentry, plumbing)
  • Employment type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Compensation: $25,000 to $30,000 per year
