The Ancestra Lumina Manager ensures the marketing and operational coordination of the Notre-Dame Fabric's nighttime journey. In this role, they oversee the smooth running of performances, human and technical resource planning, and on-site team support. They also contribute to optimizing the customer experience, sales tracking, and ticketing, as well as continuous operational improvements to enhance the quality, efficiency, and reputation of the offered experience.
Functions and Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize nighttime journey marketing initiatives to increase visibility and foot traffic;
- Generate sales reports from various platforms, analyze results, and provide recommendations regarding sales types, target audiences, and performance times;
- Serve as a resource for computer and technical tools related to ticketing, retail sales software, and access control systems, including configuration, report generation, technical troubleshooting, and vendor follow-ups;
- Support employees in managing complex customer situations, handling complaints, and applying exchange and refund policies, including required approvals;
- Coordinate event planning, including human resource planning, technical resource availability, and daily operational smooth running;
- Manage technical equipment, including maintenance and required follow-ups, as well as stock management for operational materials and promotional items for the Ancestra Lumina experience;
- Supervise a team of approximately twenty unionized employees, including recruitment, training, supervision, payroll, and scheduling management.
- Work Schedule
Full-time position of 35 hours per week. The work schedule is flexible and established based on the Ancestra Lumina performance calendar and operational needs. The incumbent must be available to work evenings and weekends. Initially, performances will primarily take place from Thursday to Sunday in the evening.
Required Skills
- Possess a combination of college studies and three years of relevant experience such as:
- College studies in tourism and experience in coordination;
College studies in management and experience in tourism, in the event or performance domain;
Any other relevant combination.
- Excellent planning, organization, and coordination skills for operational activities;
- Ability to analyze sales and foot traffic to provide concrete recommendations;
- Recognized team management, coaching, and staff mobilization skills;
- Good judgment, autonomy, sense of priorities, and adaptability;
- Ability to support teams in managing complex customer situations;
- Capacity to diagnose first-level technical problems and ensure required follow-ups;
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint;
- Knowledge of ticketing, access control, multimedia, or audiovisual systems, an asset;
- Knowledge of the tourism, heritage, cultural, or religious environment, an asset;
- Excellent spoken and written French;
- Intermediate spoken and written English is required, due to the nature of the clientele. The incumbent will be required to resolve complex situations with clients on occasion. They will also be required to communicate regularly with vendors, partners, and corporate clients in English.
- Salary: $65,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
