Benefits and Social Benefits* Competitive pay, no shift differentials * Annual allocation for tool purchases * Comprehensive social benefits, including: medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, and more * Retirement plan * Allocation for safety boot purchases * Company-provided service vehicle, with fuel, insurance, and repair costs covered * Company-provided cell phone * Opportunities for continuous professional development * State-of-the-art training facilities The Position Responsible for visiting clients to install, maintain, and repair loading dock and gate equipment, as well as other industrial building accessories. * Visit clients to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, install, maintain, and ensure the upkeep of all types of loading dock and gate equipment. * Plan and coordinate interventions according to the daily repair schedule. * Discuss with clients the problems and difficulties encountered. * Prepare estimates for repair costs. * Perform safety and functionality tests. * Complete and process necessary administrative documents. * Manage stock levels of spare parts accurately according to branch directives. Retrieve parts and restock the vehicle. * Maintain all required safety equipment provided with the vehicle. * Follow all required training. * Perform any other tasks assigned. Physical Requirements* Ability to safely operate lift trucks and service vehicles * Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend/stoop/turn, crouch, reach below knee level, grasp/take objects, work with arms extended, and work above chest level * Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 22 kg * Ability to occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 45 kg, reach above shoulder level, climb stairs, use ladders, exert twisting force, use vibrating tools, and perform pinching * Exposure to varying weather conditions Education and Qualifications * High school diploma * Valid driver's license * Seven to ten years of prior experience (desirable) * Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electrical/electronic and hydraulic systems * Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics * Ability to perform arc welding on mild steel * Must be familiar with tools and equipment * Basic computer skills and practical knowledge of Microsoft Office programs * Strong organizational, customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills * Proficiency in English (intermediate level) is required 10% of the time to read technical documents or respond to emails from English-speaking suppliers when French is not available.
