A Strategic Role at the Heart of Logistic R esponsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and organized records related to compliance activities, including policies, procedures, training materials, and audit documentation.
  • Participate in compliance audits and assessments, both internal and external. Collaborate with audit teams to address findings and recommend corrective actions.
  • Generate regular reports on compliance activities, key performance indicators, and potential areas of concern. Provide reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Assist in identifying and assessing compliance risks within the organization. Collaborate with relevant departments to develop strategies for mitigating these risks.
  • Support investigations into compliance-related issues, incidents, or violations. Work closely with the Compliance Manager/Director to resolve and report on such matters.
  • Monitor and stay up-to-date with relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards and best practices. Assist in interpreting regulations and ensuring compliance across the organization.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures. Work with cross-functional teams to communicate and train employees on these policies.

Foster a culture of compliance by promoting open communication and awareness of compliance matters throughout the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal studies, or a related field. A relevant certification (e.g., Certified Compliance Professional) is a plus.
  • Previous experience in compliance administration, regulatory affairs, or related roles is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Bilingual (French and English) - written/spoken
