OBJECTIVE:
The Enterprise Applications and Integration Developer designs, develops, integrates, and supports essential enterprise platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Boomi, Shopify, Azure services, APIs, and related systems. They collaborate closely with business, data, infrastructure, vendor, and technical teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions for ERP, commerce, integration, and reporting processes. This role is responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions, developing and maintaining integrations, resolving production incidents, and ensuring continuous improvement of the application environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, document, and support enterprise application solutions on D365 Finance & Operations, Shopify, Boomi, Azure, and related platforms.
- Develop and maintain extensions, customizations, X++ components, data entities, workflows, security-related changes, and Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations integrations in accordance with Microsoft's best practices.
- Build, enhance, monitor, and troubleshoot Boomi integration processes, connectors, APIs, EDI/data flows, and scheduled jobs linking ERP, commerce, data, and third-party applications.
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and cloud integration patterns using Azure services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Data Lake, and Power Automate, when relevant.
- Support Shopify and commerce integrations with ERP, OMS/WMS, payments, order fulfillment, customers, products, pricing, inventory, and reporting processes.
- Translate business requirements into robust technical designs, estimates, technical documentation, unit tests, deployment plans, and production support procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external development partners to address complex challenges, improve performance, enhance security, and ensure reliable service delivery.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- More than 5 years of experience in software development, enterprise application development, or integration development.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations development, including X++, extensions, data entities, security concepts, integrations, and production support.
- Practical experience with Boomi AtomSphere, including process development, connectors, API/EDI integrations, deployments, monitoring, error management, and support.
- Experience integrating Shopify or comparable e-commerce platforms with ERP, OMS/WMS, order fulfillment, payments, customers, products, pricing, inventory, and reporting systems.
- Strong experience in designing and supporting RESTful APIs, web services, JSON/XML payloads, middleware processes, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Excellent proficiency in C#, .NET/.NET Core, SQL, stored procedures, data modeling, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with Azure services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Data Lake, Power Automate, Key Vault, App Service, and monitoring tools is an asset.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, version control, documentation, testing, debugging, and production operations.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, Node.js, front-end frameworks, or UI development is an asset, but remains secondary to application and integration expertise.
- Experience with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, or enterprise data platforms is an asset.
- Ability to facilitate technical design discussions, present different options and their trade-offs, assess impacts, and recommend pragmatic solutions.
- Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and business partnership skills; ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
- Experience in the fashion, retail, wholesale, e-commerce, supply chain, or financial processes sectors is an asset.
- Bilingual English-French is an asset.
