LAPORTE is looking for a building electrician engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join its team in Quebec. The building electrician engineer will be responsible for the design of electrical systems, project management, and interdisciplinary coordination in complex industrial projects.
Responsibilities
- Design lighting, electrical distribution, fire alarm, and communication systems;
- Prepare electrical schematics for control and protection (single-line diagrams, wiring, and routing);
- Perform commissioning and performance testing;
- Coordinate interdisciplinary activities with the project team;
- Manage equipment supplier follow-up;
- Manage client accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field;
- Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical system design;
- Experience in automation (an asset);
- Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or food industries (an asset).
