In this role, you will work within a client project that falls under the public sector in the city of Quebec

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop the test strategy, test plans, and test cases from functional specifications and ensure the tracking of the plan;
  • Coordinate all activities related to the different phases of testing to ensure the quality of the delivered treatments;
  • Act as a resource person regarding the test acceptance environments. In this capacity, they bridge the gap between the user team and the IT managers of the acceptance environments for any questions or requests from either team;
  • Perform all actions required according to the master plan;
  • Conduct various quality assurance tests;
  • Produce test progress reports and anomaly reports;
  • Collaborate with the project manager and report on your work;
  • Perform any other related activities as required by this mandate
  • Deliverables:
  • Master test plan;
  • Test group;
  • Test report;
  • Installation folder for test and acceptance environments FIIS:
  • Execution scenarios for the processing of deferred transactions for each test cell in acceptance;
  • Development progress registry for test cells by test cycle for acceptance testing;
  • Test strategy;
  • Test summary;
  • Test progress tracking document;
  • Presentations and documents related to work committees and workshops;
  • Any other required deliverable
  • Minimum Required Experience

8 years of experience in test coordination or test management.

Confirmed experience in functional, integrated, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Familiarity with automation and tracking tools (Azure DevOps, HP ALM, etc.).

Possess a minimum of three (3) years of experience in development projects, including two (2) years as a test coordinator.

Have completed two (2) mandates of more than 105 person-days as a test coordinator within two (2) projects of more than 2,500 person-days.

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.

Additional training in software quality assurance or ISTQB certification (asset).
