The daily routine of the project manager includes participation in service offers, client contacts, management of environmental characterization projects, environmental rehabilitation, and soil management for projects of various sizes, both public and private. Collaboration is essential within project teams as well as with other disciplines.

Within an energetic and high-performing team, this position will require you to:

  • Project and Client Management: Be responsible for the execution of site characterization and contaminated site rehabilitation projects (by excavation, in-situ treatment, and bio-pile); Manage all project stages while respecting budgets and deadlines, ensuring the quality of service execution; Manage client relationships.
  • Community of Practice Management: Actively participate in a practice community within a defined area of expertise or consulting to develop your own expertise.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze data using predefined tools, methods, and formats. This involves working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment: Implement and enforce health and safety plans on job sites. Conduct site visits to ensure the quality of execution.
  • Personal Capacity Building: Develop your own skills by participating in evaluation and development planning activities, as well as formal and informal training and coaching; obtain or maintain external professional accreditations, if applicable, to improve your performance and realize your personal potential. Maintain an understanding of relevant technologies, external regulations, and industry best practices through continuous training, participation in conferences, and reading specialized media.
  • Project Management: Manage all project stages while respecting budgets and deadlines, ensuring the quality of service execution.
  • Bid/Solicitation/Proposal Response: Write service proposals, including budget evaluation; Write technical reports or documents and ensure their quality within deadlines and budgets.
  • Research: Conduct research, site visits, and interpretation of collected data.
  • To succeed in this position, you must have the following skills and qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, geological engineering, civil engineering, or another closely related degree to the execution of characterization and rehabilitation projects.
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent mastery of French both orally and in writing.
  • ASP Construction certification is mandatory.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Self-reliant, methodical, responsible, resourceful, and punctual.
  • Attention to detail. Analytical and synthesis capabilities.
  • Available for variable hours.

  • Certified expert in LQE.
  • Experience in in-situ rehabilitation projects.
