About the Position
The Tank Cleaner is responsible for the manual, rigorous, and safe cleaning of mobile tanks used in the production of epoxy resin-based products, paints, solvents, and additives. He plays a crucial role in maintaining product quality, preventing contamination, and ensuring safety.
- Perform manual cleaning of mobile tanks using solvents.
- Enter the tanks to ensure complete and compliant cleaning.
- Verify the cleanliness of the tanks before they are put back into production.
- Handle, manage, and properly dispose of hazardous materials.
- Replace hazardous material drums when required.
- Maintain the work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Strictly adhere to health and safety policies, procedures, and rules.
- Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Read, understand, and apply the information contained in safety data sheets.
- Support production operations by performing various related tasks, such as packaging and assisting production teams.
- Your Skills and Experience
- Basic knowledge of chemistry.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret instructions, procedures, and work documents.
- Excellent physical condition and ability to perform demanding tasks in an industrial environment.
- Rigor, reliability, and high sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating within a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality, health, and safety standards.
WORK CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL CONSTRAINTS
- Indoor work environment.
- Provided uniform.
- Handling of various chemical products requiring safety equipment (protective shoes and goggles, protective mask).
- Substantial repetitive physical effort required - ability to lift up to 20 kg.
- Safe work with and around moving machines/equipment.
- Day and evening shifts.
- Overtime as needed.
