We are a small autonomous team developing an ambitious multiplayer experience on the Unreal Engine. We are looking for highly engaged developers, driven by execution, a sense of responsibility, and the pride of building something concrete together.
What You Will Do
- Design, implement, and maintain engine foundations under Unreal Engine, with a strong focus on stability, performance, and scalability, to support an always-playable and delivery-oriented production.
- Carry out rendering and frame performance tasks: GPU/CPU diagnostics and optimization, budget definition, pipelines, and safeguards (profiling, regression detection, benchmarks) to secure continuous quality.
- Be the owner of end-to-end technical solutions: design, implementation, integration, review, and hardening, with a production + live hygiene mindset (stability, performance, security, exploitability).
- Collaborate daily with gameplay, tech art, VFX, level art, tools, and build to ensure that engine choices (rendering, streaming, LOD) allow for fast delivery without compromising performance, and that Unreal workflows remain smooth for a small autonomous team.
- Embrace a senior hands-on role: write code daily, debug close to the engine, challenge solutions, document the "why," and sustainably raise the quality bar of the team (standards, patterns, managed technical debt).
Qualifications What You Bring
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 7 years of experience in programming, preferably in the video game industry.
- A skill for communicating with all disciplines and supporting your team and pushing it up in terms of visuals and performance.
- Experience with HLSL, DirectX.
- Proficiency in the C++ language.
- Experience in game console design and performance optimization on console.
- The math skills (algebra, geometry, and calculus have no secrets for you!).
- Creativity and a sense of innovation.
Bonus
- Experience on a team that has delivered a video game.
- Understanding of C#.
