System Administrator

Under the responsibility of the IT Director, you will be in charge of the operation, administration, and continuous improvement of server systems, networks, virtualized environments, storage solutions, and cloud infrastructures. You will play a crucial role in implementing cybersecurity best practices, managing infrastructure incidents, ensuring operational continuity, and modernizing our clients' technological environment. You will also serve as a technical escalation point for advanced-level incidents and collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners.

Main Responsibilities

• Administration of systems and infrastructures
• Administration of Microsoft 365 infrastructures
• Support for Microsoft 365 migrations
• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server environments (an asset)
• Optimize LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi infrastructures for IT and OT environments
• Manage virtualized environments and storage solutions
• Administer cloud and hybrid infrastructures (e.g., market platforms)
• Install and configure technological infrastructure components
• Participate in the evolution of IT architecture and patch management
• Define the organization's infrastructure standards [to be validated with the client]
• Deploy and maintain cybersecurity measures: firewalls, antivirus, MFA, segmentation
• Administer identity and access management (IAM) tools
• Participate in vulnerability analysis, remediation, and management
• Contribute to security incident monitoring and management
• Technical support and operations
• Act as an escalation point for complex incidents (levels 2–3)
• Support internal support teams
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to system and network infrastructures
• Collaborate with technology vendors and partners
• Document systems, procedures, and technical configurations
• Administer and monitor backup and restoration solutions
• Participate in disaster recovery plan testing
• Contribute to the resilience and availability of critical systems
• Administer, maintain, and deploy servers according to defined specifications and procedures
• All other related tasks

Required Education and Experience

• DEC in computer science / BAC in computer science
• 3 years of experience as a system administrator in managed services
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a vehicle
• Possession of MS900 or MS-100 certificates (an asset)
