Mechanical Designer, Therapeutic Mattress

As part of the Research and Development team, you will participate in the analysis, design, and prototyping of a new therapeutic mattress development project. You will develop innovative ideas and solutions in a personalized and proactive approach focused on patients, medical staff, and our clients.

More specifically, here is what your day might look like

• You will develop new concepts and layouts by 3D modeling with CAD software;
• You will engineer and design mechanical assembly structures from a concept, sketch, or quote;
• You will have to respect the technical criteria established by clients and regulatory authorities and take into account the manufacturing constraints of the pieces to be modeled, developed, or designed.
• You will have to carry out the appropriate checks and validations before production
• You will participate in continuous improvement by ensuring the reliability of processes and contributing to process mastery

• High school diploma or DEC in mechanical engineering
• Experience with textiles (an asset)
• Experience in pneumatic solution management (an asset)
• Mastery of finite element analysis (an asset)
