As a pillar of our HR team, you will play a key role in the evolution of our talent strategies, particularly for our various regional radio stations. As a strategic ally of employees and managers, your daily work will consist of creating bridges between teams, harmonizing our strengths and propelling collaboration. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with managers to understand business objectives, key projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's values, philosophy and strategy, while providing proactive and strategic HR advice;
  • Provide HR support for several regional radio stations, which involves frequent field trips, particularly at the beginning to fully immerse yourself in the teams and their reality;
  • Work in partnership, support the execution and deployment of human resources programs and processes and participate in the framing and guidance of initiatives such as performance management, talent development, remuneration, employee engagement, and talent acquisition;
  • Advise and support managers in various aspects related to human resources management such as team development, conflict management, disciplinary matters;
  • Coordinate and lead all disciplinary processes when required. Advise managers on the appropriate strategies for the issues encountered;
  • Support managers to ensure compliance with the terms of the collective agreement;
  • Act as a resource person to guide executives and employees regarding human resources policies, programs and processes;
  • Implement HR policies and procedures in a consistent manner, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards;
  • Drive recruitment and staffing processes for the positions in the served sectors;
  • Develop and implement initiatives to strengthen employee engagement and satisfaction.

What Makes You an Excellent Candidate

  • Relevant education or experience in HR, management or related field (or an atypical background and field experience);
  • Experience in supporting leaders on human issues: team development, mobilization, organizational change;
  • Concrete achievements in improving performance, retention or culture, whether through HR programs, business decisions or targeted interventions;
  • Ease in advising managers, with a good balance between strategic vision and concrete implementation;
  • Experience in dynamic environments where priorities change rapidly, ability to adapt, solve problems and propose pragmatic solutions.

Key Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience related to the content of the responsibilities
  • Proven experience as an HR partner or in a similar position, within a dynamic environment
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles and practices, as well as Canadian labor legislation
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal relations and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and build strong relationships with diverse teams
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Availability and flexibility for frequent travel, essential to meet the teams in the region
  • Experience within a unionized organization is an asset
