About the Role

As the Senior Manager, Digital Operations, you will govern the virtual value chain that powers the global SSENSE platform, managing the digital lifecycle of products from brand data integration to the final customer care experience. You will serve as the functional owner of our core virtual planning, sales, and creative capabilities, ensuring our digital inventory framework is highly accurate, scalable, and resilient.

By bridging the gap between technical design and commercial intent, you will drive the strategic roadmap for our end-to-end global network operations. This is a pivotal leadership role designed for a forward-thinking expert ready to scale world-class fashion e-commerce operations.

What You Will Do

  • Design the Virtual Strategy: Define and deploy the Global Virtual Footprint by leading the functional design of key capabilities, such as the Assortment Planning Tool and the Merch Engine.
  • Oversee Value Chain Performance: Monitor the end-to-end flow of virtual assets, ensuring digital continuity, mitigating systemic disruptions (inventory mismatches), and leading performance reviews in executive forums.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Roadmaps: Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, Engineering, and Supply Chain leadership to translate strategic Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) into multi-year technical designs.
  • Lead & Mentor Talent: Manage a specialized team of digital operations experts, fostering a collaborative environment that connects technical product design with front-line commercial execution.
  • Manage Vendors & Governance: Oversee critical vendor relationships, lead RFIs/RFPs, and negotiate renewals to optimize cost control in partnership with Supply Chain Engineering.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7 years in digital operations, omnichannel retail technology, or customer experience engineering, ideally within high-growth e-commerce.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing high-performing teams and successfully influencing.
  • Excellent functional knowledge of virtual architecture, including Order Management Systems (OMS), Available to Sell (ATS), Available to Promise (ATP), and Customer Service Platforms.
  • Professional Product Management certification and Six Sigma Green Belt certification required (Black Belt, PMP, or Scrum Master certifications are a plus).

What Sets You Apart

  • Strategic and Holistic Vision: You don’t just look at the data; you understand how upstream planning decisions impact downstream customer service and brand reputation.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Mindset: You don’t shy away from systemic digital disruptions, possessing a natural ability to diagnose complex technical anomalies and implement sustainable process-based solutions.
  • Executive Presence: You are an exceptional communicator capable of translating complex virtual infrastructure challenges and Customer Experience (CX) metrics into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Exceptional Bridge Builder: You possess excellent stakeholder management skills, enabling you to easily reconcile distinct worlds, from technical developers and engineers to creative marketing teams and buyers.
