The role of the new resource will be to contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of internal systems and its infrastructures, mostly based on Linux. In a company that evolves according to AS9100 and cybersecurity certifications, the person sought will ensure the administration of a network, troubleshooting, and optimizing the performance of the custom IT park to guarantee the reliability, scalability, and security of servers and workstations, and participate in system development activities (DevOps). In addition to relying on their talents and passion for Linux development, the retained candidate must have a concern for efficiency, cost reduction, and security reinforcement in the implementation of their solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and administer Linux operating systems;
  • Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux servers;
  • Manage updates, security patches, and system configurations;
  • Collaborate in development to support Linux-based applications and services;
  • Contribute to the implementation of security policies to ensure data protection;
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation;
  • Provide technical support to users as needed;
  • Analyze, diagnose, and resolve a wide variety of complex challenges related to software, hardware, and peripherals;
  • Perform preventive maintenance, system updates, and user management;
  • Administer various network components, hardware, and software;
  • Be familiar with networking protocols and technologies to configure networks and solve connectivity issues;
  • Ensure information security.

Required Experience

  • Network management experience;
  • Experience in managing and configuring Linux, Mac, and Windows servers and workstations, and commonly used software suites;
  • Experience in managing and configuring Proxmox hypervisors;
  • Experience in managing postfix, dovecot, apache, subversion, git, jira, confluence, samba, AFP, AD, OD, CalDav, CardDav, Asterisk, Jenkins, Ansible, TrueNas services;
  • OpenWRT, QOS, OpenVPN experience;
  • Expertise with data protection solutions.

Required Skills and Qualities
