Description

*english description follows*

The Nesto Group is Canada's leading provider of mortgage technology and financing solutions, with over $73 billion in residential and commercial mortgages under administration. We are trusted by many of the country's most prominent financial institutions.

Built on the foundation of 50 years of mortgage expertise from CMLS, and powered by nesto's proprietary Mortgage Cloud technology and AI-driven innovation, we are transforming decades of industry knowledge into scalable automation and intelligent lending solutions. With 1,000+ employees across Canada, our mission is clear: Building Canada's Mortgage Ecosystem of the Future.

The Nesto Group is looking for a senior individual contributor to lead one of our key strategic white-label partnerships. The partnership spans the full mortgage lifecycle, from origination for borrowers supported by the partner's financial advisors, through to servicing over the life of the loan. You will be the primary connective tissue between nesto and the partner across that whole spectrum: working directly with their executives, technology leaders, and project managers while driving delivery across our own technology and service delivery teams.

This isn't a role where you own a team and delegate the details: you'll set the strategic direction for the partnership and then roll up your sleeves to make sure it actually happens, holding the pen on project plans, running the meetings, and chasing down the root cause when something's off track.

The role demands genuine range. One week you're building the annual strategic plan and budget with the partner's leadership; the next you're in the weeds resolving an operational escalation or scoping a change request with our tech team. You'll need to earn influence across a matrix organization where you have accountability for outcomes but not direct authority over the people delivering them, and you'll need to seamlessly transition from the 30,000-foot view to the finest details, without losing sight in either case.

We are looking for a person with relational instincts and structured communication skills to hold a room with senior executives, as well as ease with data and performance indicators (KPIs) to back up a recommendation when it's important, but who hasn't lost the willingness to do the work themselves.

What you'll do

  • You will act as the primary point of contact for one of nesto's key strategic partners, and build and maintain relationships with various external stakeholders, including senior executives, technology and operational leaders, and project managers
  • You will collaborate with internal teams and builders to drive growth, manage performance, or resolve issues
  • You will develop and exercise your internal influence to drive service and project delivery within a hierarchical matrix structure covering technology and service delivery
  • You will operate at both the strategic and tactical levels: developing annual strategic plans and budgets, managing concrete project plans, running meetings, handling deliverables, and managing stakeholder engagement, all to deliver optimal results
  • You will build a strong relationship with the partner to create closely aligned strategic visions and coordinated delivery of results
  • You will assess growth, impact, and risk levers to better propose, prioritize, and deliver value-added projects for the partnership
  • You will identify scaling opportunities, potential synergies, and long-term growth opportunities, including the technology roadmap and business process optimization

What we're looking for

  • 6 to 10 years of experience in a high-performing environment, with a history of excellence
  • Experience in managing and being accountable for accounts or B2B partnerships
  • A curiosity and desire to dive into the details to solve deep-rooted problems
  • Excellent program management and decision-making skills; ability to execute high-quality programs with speed, precision, and efficiency
  • Proven ability to lead by influence, both with internal and external stakeholders
  • A strong team spirit capable of excelling in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual French and English, with a willingness to work regularly from our downtown Montreal office. Please note that, given that we serve clients located across Canada, it is essential to be bilingual for this position. You may be required to communicate in both French and English.

Your additional assets

  • Experience in managing consulting accounts, supporting the financial and/or mortgage sectors, or in technology services
  • Experience working with technology teams in prioritizing, scoping, and/or implementing initiatives

Support for your life at Nesto Group

  • Health and Well-being: Comprehensive health insurance (prescription drugs, vision, dental) and health and well-being spending accounts.
  • Mental Health Support: 24/7 unlimited access to telemedicine, EAP, and mental health services for you and your family.
  • Free Time: 4 weeks of paid vacation, in addition to personal/sick days and all legal holidays.
  • Future Planning: Employer-sponsored REER contribution program
  • Family Support: Robust maternity/paternity leave and parental leave programs.
  • Diversity and Inclusion

At Nesto Group, we believe that the best results are the product of diverse perspectives and inclusive teams. We are committed to fostering a culture of equity, belonging, and respect, and strongly encourage applications from women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and people with disabilities. We are committed to building a workplace where everyone is welcomed and can bring their best selves.
