As an IT Developer at Ubisoft Montréal, you will join the Gaming and Studios Information Technology team, within the team responsible for compilation and orchestration. In this role of IT Developer, you will design, develop, and support essential services and products that power the game production pipelines used by global game development teams.

You will work closely with system administrators, developers, and software operations and development specialists to deliver reliable, performant, and scalable solutions. This position combines software development and operational responsibilities, including participation in an on-call rotation to ensure the availability of critical systems.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain internal services and products supporting game production pipelines
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot features in Python or C# within distributed environments
  • Improve existing codebases to solve complex technical problems
  • Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of services within private and public cloud environments
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust and performant solutions
  • Contribute to automation and continuous integration and delivery pipelines to optimize deployments
  • Participate in platform evolution initiatives to meet future needs
  • Monitor and support critical systems, including an on-call rotation

Qualifications What You Bring to the Team

  • Strong skills in Python or C#, with exposure to the Go language, and the ability to design, deploy, and troubleshoot applications
  • Practical experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines and modern software operations practices, including automation, monitoring, and logging
  • Good knowledge of cloud platforms and tools such as Azure or AWS, Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes, and Docker
  • Practical understanding of Linux and Windows environments, including networking basics and system log analysis
  • Knowledge of modular service architectures and principles of distributed systems
  • An operational mindset, accompanied by strong communication and collaboration skills, to support international teams
