WORK SCHEDULE
Permanent full-time position
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
100% on-site position; no remote work option available MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the various components of the IT infrastructure, which is primarily on-premise (physical and virtual servers), with some cloud services (e.g. Office 365)
Regularly check the status of the communications network and take appropriate measures to resolve any issues
Provide employees and clients accessing our network with the necessary support to navigate or perform their work effectively
Implement new IT modules to keep the company at the forefront of technology
Plan and regularly deliver training on new IT modules to new users as well as current users
Manage the company’s various communication tools (IP phone system, mobile devices, voicemails, automated messaging, etc.)
Perform any other related tasks as requested
PROFILE REQUIRED
- DEC in Computer Science or Computer Management
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in IT, including five (5) years as a System Administrator
Technical knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, GPO, Windows security, server virtualization, high availability, and VMware technologies (vSphere / vSAN)
Technical knowledge and skills with Microsoft WSUS, IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, Office 365, Intune
Technical knowledge and skills with Veeam Backup, proactive management of monitoring tools
Network administration knowledge including TCP/IP stack, network segmentation and security, traffic analysis, switch management, router/firewall management
Ability to provide second-level user support as needed
Knowledge of IP telephony, Avaya IP Office
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Problem-solving approach and resourcefulness
Versatility and leadership to make appropriate decisions quickly
Bilingual in French (Basic knowledge of English is required to communicate verbally and in writing with some English-speaking suppliers, which happens occasionally a few times a month)
Excellent analytical skills and strong communication abilities
Skills in team facilitation, training, and coaching
- Valid driver’s license
