Temporary position for a duration of 15 months

Within the Security Operations Center team, the person holding this role plays a crucial part in protecting La Caisse's IT infrastructure from security threats. They monitor and detect security incidents and collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to provide a rapid and effective response to these incidents.

What You Will Do

  • Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activities and security incidents;
  • Analyze security alerts and conduct in-depth investigations to identify potential threats;
  • Respond to security incidents by following established procedures, including triage, containment, eradication, and recovery;
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve security incidents and implement corrective measures;
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in cyber defense;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of incident management processes and procedures;
  • Participate in team rotation to ensure 24/7 security operations coverage.

What You Bring

  • Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field;
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in security monitoring, detection, and incident response;
  • Mastery of cybersecurity concepts, Security Operations Centers (SOC), and Incident Detection/Response Services;
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender (MDO, MDE, MDI) solutions, on cloud environments AWS and Azure, and expertise in network security, particularly with Palo Alto solutions;
  • Practical experience using artificial intelligence capabilities to support detection and incident response;
  • Proficiency in both French and English*, both spoken and written.
  • *Oral and/or written interactions with external partners based outside Quebec (service providers, law firms, peers, bankers, brokerage firms, credit analysis firms, credit agencies, etc.)*
