How You'll Create Impact

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive individual, with great technical and interpersonal skills to mentor junior developers, lead technical discussions, and collaborate with teams and clients. As a Senior Software Developer, you will actively participate as part of the Portal system development team in all stages of the software development process, including requirement analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, support, and maintenance.

Specifically, in this role, you will:

• Design robust and secure backend web services using Java and the Spring framework
• Develop dynamic, responsive user interfaces using Angular
• Implement efficient data persistence layers using Hibernate ORM
• Optimize complex SQL queries and database schemas for performance
• Containerize applications using Docker for consistent environment deployment with GitLab pipelines
• Ensure high availability and continuous uptime across Azure cloud and on-premises infrastructures
• Participate in the support and maintenance of the whole system

Your Background

• You have a university degree in engineering (software engineering, computer science, or equivalent)
• You have at least 8 years of experience in software development, mainly Java web services and web applications
• You are recognized for your ease in interacting with both internal and external collaborators, as well as in understanding and explaining complex technical subjects
• You have an analytical mind and an excellent ability to manage priorities and deadlines
• You are bilingual (French and English), both orally and in writing
