You will join the Cyberportal development team, an internal web platform developed with Angular. This is a platform in the midst of significant changes and a complete overhaul. This role is for individuals who want to actively contribute to the transformation of the product, have a concrete impact on its evolution, and participate in modernizing the user experience, features, and frontend architecture.
You will contribute to the creation of interactive dashboards, reports, and features related to incident management and operational tracking.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain standalone Angular components
- Integrate user interface components (Angular Material, PrimeNG)
- Implement responsive interfaces with Bootstrap 5
- Participate in the internationalization of the application (French/English)
- Collaborate with the backend team for API integration
- Contribute to code quality through code reviews
Essential Skills
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS, and TypeScript
- Familiarity with a modern frontend framework (Angular is a major asset)
- Understanding of component, routing, and reactive form concepts
- Ability to work with Git (branches, commits, pull requests)
- Curiosity and willingness to learn
Assets
- Experience with Angular Material or a similar component library
- Knowledge of Bootstrap 5 (utilities, responsive grid)
- Familiarity with Angular Signals and reactive state management
- Understanding of i18n (internationalization, ngx-translate)
- Basic knowledge of SCSS (variables, mixins)
- Exposure to RxJS or reactive programming
Desired Profile
- Computer science, software engineering, or related field student
- Self-motivated and comfortable asking questions
- Interest in complex technological environments (an asset, not required)
This role requires verbal and written communication skills in both French and English. Proficiency in English is necessary, as there will be daily communications with stakeholders who speak only English, both inside and outside of Quebec, requiring excellent written and oral skills.
