QA Analyst

We are looking for an experienced IT QA Analyst to drive the global testing strategy within a complex technological environment, combining modern systems and legacy. The ideal candidate will be able to structure, optimize, and evolve quality practices while remaining hands-on in test execution.

Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and evolve the global testing strategy (unit, integration, end-to-end)
• Establish approaches to optimize testing to improve coverage, reliability, and execution speed
• Act as a quality assurance leader for development teams and stakeholders
• Actively participate in the execution of manual and automated tests when required
• Implement and promote best testing practices (TDD, BDD, automation)
• Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Identify quality risks and propose appropriate mitigation plans
• Contribute to the definition of acceptance criteria and validation of deliverables
• Participate in the continuous improvement of QA processes in an Agile/SAFe context
• Ensure traceability, documentation, and tracking of testing activities.

Qualifications Required to Succeed in This Role

• Solid experience in defining testing strategies and QA governance
• Practical experience in front-end test automation (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Knowledge of end-to-end testing tools and approaches (currently being defined, ability to guide choices)
• Experience in API (REST) testing and integration
• Understanding of modern (React, TypeScript, C# .NET) and legacy environments
• Experience with DevOps environments (Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Good grasp of mock concepts (e.g., MSW or equivalent)
• Functional and methodological approach
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, DevOps)
• Ability to define strategies adapted to complex and hybrid contexts
• Optimization and efficiency-oriented approach to testing
• Soft skills
• Leadership and ability to influence teams without direct authority
• Analytical mindset and rigor
• Excellent communication and ability to communicate quality issues
• Autonomy and initiative
• Ability to be both strategic and operational

CGI offers a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position. The calculation of this range depends on various factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, as well as professional licenses and certifications. Salary decisions depend on the particularities of each case. A reasonable estimate of this salary range is between $60,000 and $120,000. This position is currently open.
