Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing site in Brossard, Quebec, one of the important sites in our Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing network.

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the site and will lead a multidisciplinary manufacturing organization encompassing operations, supply chain, planning, quality, health and safety, and team leadership.

Supported by an established management team and in a context of sustained demand growth, you will play a key role in operational excellence, supporting profitable growth, and driving the next phase of the plant's development. What you will accomplish* Ensure the overall performance of the Brossard plant by being responsible for safety, quality, deliveries, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial results.

• Provide strategic and operational leadership to all site functions, including manufacturing, supply chain, planning, procurement, engineering support, quality, health and safety, and human resources.
• Support the site's continuous growth by increasing its operational capacity and promoting operational excellence, while maintaining high standards in quality, safety, and employee engagement.
• Lead sales and operations planning (S&OP) activities and capacity planning to align customer needs with manufacturing capabilities and business objectives.
• Develop, support, and mobilize a high-performing management team by fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with employees, managers, and union representatives within a unionized manufacturing environment.
• Ensure operational and financial performance of the site through rigorous execution, effective workforce planning, productivity initiatives, and optimal resource management.
• Represent the plant to customers, corporate executives, and cross-functional partners while ensuring the execution of business priorities and strategic initiatives.
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities aimed at performance, profitability, and long-term growth of the site.

What you bring* University degree in engineering, operations management, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

• Significant and progressive experience in manufacturing leadership within complex industrial environments.
• Experience in managing large-scale manufacturing operations through multiple levels of leadership.
• Demonstrated achievements in improving operational performance, growing activities, and continuous improvement.
• Strong business sense and understanding of financial issues, including budget management, workforce planning, productivity, and profitability.
• Experience in environments where safety, quality, and delivery performance are essential to business success.
• Good understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain, production planning, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence different partner groups and lead teams in a context of growth and transformation.
• Excellent proficiency in French and ability to work effectively in English.

Preferred Sector Experience* Experience in electrical or energy systems.

• Experience in the manufacture of electrical equipment.
• Experience in an Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environment.
• Experience in industrial equipment, aerospace, automotive, or other complex industrial manufacturing environments.

The expected salary range is CAD $195,200 - CAD $292,800 per year. This range includes the base salary and short-term incentives.
