We are looking for a meticulous, field-oriented, and collaborative individual to serve as the technical pillar for the organization's industrial technological infrastructures. In a multisite manufacturing context, the successful candidate will contribute to the availability, security, and resilience of operations by supporting industrial networks, OT servers, SCADA/MES/Historian systems, and secure integrations between IT and OT environments. The person can be based near one of our industrial sites or in Montreal, but must be available for frequent travel to our factories.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the IT team, the successful candidate is responsible for the operation, security, and evolution of industrial OT infrastructures. They will work collaboratively with automation, production, maintenance, cybersecurity, and industrial suppliers to ensure the continuity of critical operations.
Duties
- Administer OT server environments, both physical and virtualized, supporting industrial systems such as SCADA, Historian, MES, and critical applications.
- Manage virtualization platforms used in OT, such as VMware and Hyper-V, with a focus on high availability.
- Participate in migrations, modernizations, maintenance, controlled patching, and hardening of OT systems.
- Administer industrial networks, including switches, firewalls, VLAN, VPN, IT/OT segmentation, and intersite connectivity.
- Maintain and evolve IT/OT segmentation aligned with best practices, including zones, VLAN, and firewalling.
- Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot communications between PLC, SCADA, OT servers, and interconnected IT environments.
- Ensure reliable connectivity for remote sites, including WAN, fiber, radio, LTE, or other technologies used in industrial contexts.
- Implement and maintain OT security mechanisms: access control, certificates, logging, supervision, and defense against lateral movements.
- Administer dedicated Active Directory domains for OT and Automation environments, including GPO, DNS, DHCP, PKI, and authentication services.
- Collaborate with integrators and industrial suppliers such as Rockwell, ABB, AVEVA, and Ignition on projects and interventions.
- Provide Level 2 and 3 support in critical OT environments and participate in production interventions.

Strong field orientation and understanding of critical operations.
Analytical mindset and ability to diagnose complex problems in industrial contexts.
Ability to intervene calmly in high-pressure production environments.
Excellent multidisciplinary collaboration with IT, OT, automation, and production teams.
Documentation rigor, autonomy, judgment, and concern for operational availability.
Required Education
Degree in computer science, engineering, networking, industrial automation, or related field.
Any relevant combination of technical education and industrial experience will be considered.
Required Experience
Experience in IT infrastructure, with significant experience in industrial OT environments.
Experience with multisite manufacturing environments, a strong asset.
Knowledge of SCADA, ICS, MES, and industrial systems such as Rockwell, ABB, AVEVA, or Ignition.
Understanding of OT architectures, including ISA-95 or Purdue model.
Experience with Windows Server, multi-domain OT/IT Active Directory, TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, firewalls, and OT/IT segmentation.
Knowledge of OT cybersecurity, PKI, authentication, access control, and best practices inspired by IEC 62443 or NIST OT.
Special Requirements
Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
