Within the Operational Security Center and Identity Management team, the incumbent plays a leading role in protecting La Caisse's essential business capabilities and the performance of security operations. They act as the team lead for the SOC, ensuring coordination, planning, and oversight of daily activities, while serving as the technical and operational point of reference and collaborating closely with the senior director.
What You Will Do
- Plan, organize, and direct the SOC team's daily activities, ensuring efficient workload distribution and adherence to operational priorities;
- Manage and develop the team by conducting performance evaluations, providing coaching and mentoring, and fostering engagement and talent progression;
- Design, produce, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to operational security, producing dashboards and periodic reports;
- Manage service requests from internal and external clients, establishing operational priorities and ensuring agreed-upon service levels are met;
- Manage the performance and relationship with managed security service providers, including reviewing deliverables and continuously evaluating service quality;
- Act as the technical escalation point for complex incidents and situations requiring rapid decision-making;
- Contribute to technological awareness regarding the evolution of tools, threats, and best practices in cyberdefense, and formulate adoption or evolution recommendations;
- Provide a vision and tactical and strategic recommendations on the organization's security capabilities, identifying gaps, improvement opportunities, and emerging trends;
- Accelerate operational transformation through automation, advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and security information integration;
- Actively participate in the deployment of new cybersecurity initiatives, solutions, and features within the SOC's technological ecosystem;
- Lead team meetings and foster a collaborative, rigorous, and continuous improvement environment.

Required Qualifications
- University degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field;
- Minimum of ten (10) years of technical experience in cyberdefense, including monitoring, detection, investigation, incident response, threat hunting, and security intelligence in SOC environments, with at least three (3) years in a coordination, technical leadership, or team management role;
- Demonstrated experience in managing security service providers and tracking performance;
- Experience with Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender (MDO, MDE, MDI) solutions, AWS and Azure cloud environments, and expertise in network security, particularly with Palo Alto solutions;
- Proficiency in both French and English, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications
- Information security certifications: CISSP, CISM, GIAC (GCIH, GCIA, GSOM), CSA;
- Microsoft certifications: Azure Security Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst;
- AWS certifications: AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner;
- Experience with frameworks such as NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001;
- Knowledge of the financial sector and its regulatory requirements in cybersecurity.
