Aircraft Health Management System (AHMS) Professional

What are your contributions to the team?

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated engineering professional to join our Aircraft Health Management System (AHMS) team. In this role, you will support the development, implementation, and optimization of cutting-edge systems that monitor and analyze the health status of our fleet of aircraft. You will also work closely with digital teams to ensure seamless integration between hardware and software, fostering innovative solutions for real-time aircraft health monitoring.

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and enhance AHMS technologies.
• Support the integration of hardware, software, and analysis tools for real-time and predictive maintenance solutions.
• Work closely with digital teams to align software tools and platforms with engineering requirements, ensuring compatibility and performance optimization.
• Participate in aircraft performance and health data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and potential improvements.
• Participate in the validation and verification of AHMS components and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Be in direct contact with clients, gather their feedback, understand their needs, and propose tailored solutions.
• Provide excellent service to our clients by troubleshooting aeronautical systems with engineering teams.

How will you thrive in this role?

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent understanding of at least some aeronautical systems and maintenance processes.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis, machine learning, or predictive maintenance methodologies is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or similar tools. Knowledge of AWS cloud is an asset.
• Knowledge of system engineering principles and tools such as FRACAS, reliability reports, etc., is a major asset.
• Experience or knowledge of software development and digital platforms is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Professional experience in direct customer contact is a major asset.
• Work effectively in a collaborative environment.
