Description

Role Overview \& Mindset

As an ERP Functional Analyst, you are the strategic and technical bridge between our clients' operational realities and the power of cloud technology. Possessing a strong client-facing mindset, you love leading conversations, simplifying complex concepts, and guiding teams through business process optimization and system adoption with empathy and clarity.

We seek a self-starter who is naturally curious—someone who constantly strives to understand the "why" behind a business workflow to configure the most efficient system solution, rather than just executing on the "what." You are highly coachable, welcome constructive feedback as a tool for personal growth, and thrive as an active team player in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Analysis \& Workshops: Co-facilitate discovery workshops to gather comprehensive client business requirements and map current processes.
  • Functional Design \& Optimization: Analyze operational workflows (finance, supply chain, CRM), identify systemic inefficiencies, and design target functional architectures aligned with industry best practices.
  • System Configuration (NetSuite): Translate validated workflows into functional specifications and handle direct configuration within the NetSuite platform (creating custom fields, forms, roles, dashboards, and approval workflows).
  • Testing \& Quality Assurance (UAT): Develop test scenarios, perform functional testing, and guide clients through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure system logic and data integrity.
  • Deployment \& Go-Live: Play an active role during critical deployment and Go-Live phases, assisting with data migration to ensure a smooth operational transition.
  • Training \& Documentation: Deliver engaging training sessions tailored for client Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and end-users, and write clear functional guides to solidify ERP adoption.
  • Post-Go-Live Support: Provide Tier 2/3 functional support and hypercare to clients during the operational stabilization phase immediately following deployment.

Requirements \& Qualifications

  • ERP / SaaS Experience (Core Requirement): 1 to 5 years of experience in functional analysis, consulting, or software implementation within the ERP or major SaaS ecosystem.
  • Client-Facing \& Analytical Mindset (Core Requirement): Proven client-facing background with a natural ability to analyze, document, and improve complex business processes.
  • Bilingualism (Core Requirement): Flawless verbal and written communication skills in both French and English (essential for handling our bilingual North American client base).
  • Education: University degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, Business Administration (Operations/Logistics Management), or a related field.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Foundational knowledge of corporate accounting: General understanding of standard financial workflows (General Ledger / GL, Accounts Payable / AP, Accounts Receivable / AR).
  • Direct hands-on experience or certification with the NetSuite platform (or other mainstream ERP systems like SAP, Odoo, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, ADP, Salesforce,etc.).
  • Experience drafting process workflows using mapping tools (Lucidchart, Visio, Miro).

Logistics

  • Permanent, full-time position (40 hours/week).
  • Hybrid Model: 3 days/week in-office at our Montreal office (near Sauvé metro station).

*This position requires proficiency in a language other than French due to the fact that 75% of our clients operate in English.*
