Experienced Mobile Robotics Developer

Oscar Robotique designs and deploys autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) in hospitals. Our mission: to give healthcare staff back time for what really matters. It's a concrete project, tested in R&D and already in service in real hospital environments.

We are looking for an experienced developer to join our team in Sherbrooke and contribute to the development of our robot, from R&D to field deployment.

What you will do

You will work on the entire development cycle of our autonomous robot. Depending on your profile, you can contribute to:

• Autonomous navigation and perception in dynamic environments
• Software programming and development
• Mechanical, electronic integration, and rapid prototyping
• Testing and continuous improvement of the robot in real-world conditions, directly in hospitals

Profile required

• Minimum 3 years of work experience, or studies at the 2nd or 3rd cycle level in mobile robotics
• At least a bachelor's degree in robotics or a related field
• Perfect mastery of French
• Required experience: ROS2, C++, Python
• Additional experience: server/cloud, computer vision, lidar, electronics, mechanics
• Autonomy, curiosity, and a taste for concrete work
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work on-site at 492 rue Joseph-Latour, Sherbrooke (relocation to Sherbrooke required if applicable)
